P.D.S College is pleased to be certified the 5th fully accredited Dental College in London (following the Dental University Hospitals) in NATIONAL CERTIFICATE IN DENTAL RADIOGRAPHY awarded by NEBDN !!!

This is a part-time course ( 1 Saturday/Month ) in our modern and interactive training centre in Edgware.

This course runs for 6 months, and is comprised of a practical portfolio (ROC) and a written paper only ( based on MCQs- multiple choice questions and EMQs- extended matching questions). The Written Paper is held twice/ year, every March and September taking place at P.D.S College.

After completing this course NEBDN will award you with the National Certificate in Dental Radiography. This Certificate will enable you to get a better job position & salary in a specialist dental surgery. 

Qualifying with the NEBDN Certificate in Dental Radiography means that you will become an IR(ME)R operator who can take intra-oral and extra oral x-rays of patients as prescribed by a clinician/ doctor either in a dental surgery or dental hospital.

This is a part-time course 1 Saturday/Month in our modern and interactive training centre in Edgware.

This course runs for 8 months, and is comprised of a practical portfolio (ROC-paper based) and a Written Exam paper only (based on MCQs- multiple choice questions).

After completing this course NEBDN will award you with the National Certificate in Orthodontic Nursing. This Qualification will enable you to get a better job position & salary in an orthodontic dental surgery/ clinic and also the chance to apply for the orthodontic therapy course at the Royal College. Our tutors are going to support you throughout this course and to advise you all the required steps in doing the orthodontic therapy school just after that.

Qualifying with the NEBDN Certificate in Orthodontic Nursing means that you will become a Qualified Orthodontic Dental Nurse, who can legally perform ‘extended duties’ on patients which require orthodontic treatment: (taking impressions for orthodontic treatment, cast impressions to create study models and retainers, give pre and post-operative instructions to your orthodontic patients, support the orthodontist in all the fixed and removable appliances treatments, take pre and post orthodontic treatment photographs, make records of orthodontic clinical assessments etc).

Become a qualified dental nurse with extended duties competency certificates in impression taking and topical fluoride application

This is a combined 1 full day theory course and a Practical Experience Portfolio (PEP) to complete within maximum 3 months from your course start date. 

After completing the 1 full day theory session and submitting the PEP by the deadline stated by PDSC, students will be awarded with the Competency Certificate which will enable them to perform the relevant tasks directly on the patients under the prescription of their dentist.
